side A 'Emergence' has halpern-esque flute noodlings over a wonderful bed of ocean / whale sounds + a sparse synth drone by michael stearns. "The image is a butterfly awakening from the cocoon, it sits while the fluid energy fills its being from the inside out. An awareness of new form and movement emerges."
side B 'Communitizing' is a purely solo flute exploration. "The image is a butterfly in flight."
