i have no idea who made the music on this but its the BEST new new age i have ever listened to.

the title is either awful or amazing, im not sure.

a lovely tape from the mu-psych label out of bensalem PA. this one has a balanced mix of acoustic instruments (harp, piano, vibes, cello, etc) and cosmic synth work. drifty, dreamy, floating textures to soothe your mind. check out 'magnetic dreamscapes', its a particularly great track! enjoy!

i dont know anything about this "band" (maybe its robert slap?) except that its some of the best new age cosmic synth music ive ever heard. translucent synth strings, spacy twinkles and rubbery basslines. part of the dick sutphen 'valley of the sun' new age empire. pure gold! ive got a few of their other albums that i will be posting here along the way. enjoy! (believe me, its worth the wait)

Anugama is kind of a 2nd rate Deuter, both floating in the ethno-new age territory. this tape is 2 side long tracks.
side 1: a slow burner with oms and chanting and handdrums. side 2: crickets & triumphant synth stasis.
a super nice tape, i have a bunch more anugama, ill try to find the good ones and post more soon.

i figured it was time for some more deuter around here, its been awhile. deuter composed music for various osho meditation exercises. its hard to get a clear date on any of the recordings. but ive heard the music was "transmitted" from deuter to osho in the 70s (but the CD versions all say they are from the late 90s). anyhow! the first stage is blissed out bells and gongs mind quieting aura cleansing goodness. the second stage is lovely reed organ / accordion chord stasis with distant recorder melodies. and the third stage is 15 minutes of silence finished off with a final gong tone. deuter did music for a ton of osho meditations and most of them are good. ill put the best ones up here over time. enjoy!

hi friends, i really don't know much of anything about this tape. acquired it on the new age cassette black market in the dark of night, down an alleyway, you know the deal.....the music is raw, grungy, distorted, rumbling new age bubble bath. (not unlike some contemporary music by Evenings or Monsturo or Romero or something......) could be my tape copy is blown out or the recording was lo-fi or the years havent been kind to the magnetics. all i know is that it was released in 1982 (david keenan, sorry you were 25+ years too late). its part of the valley of the sun / dick sutphen new age axis. brain erasers, zappers, hypnosis, alpha/theta waves, binaural beats, MIND ELECTRONICS and all that! so my best guess is that this tape was made by dick sutphen or one of his cohorts.

enjoy the zones, its a special one.
(same program repeats on both sides, but i recorded each side because they seem slightly different to me.....)
